Kate Bellamy is a dedicated community leader whose life is deeply guided by the Rotary International motto, “Service Before Self.” Her journey in community service began as a Rotary Exchange student, an immersive experience that broadened her worldview and instilled a lifelong commitment to compassion, empathy, and cross-cultural understanding. These values shine through her extensive volunteer work, most notably at Burwood Cricket Club. Making history as the first female President in the club’s 150-year history, Kate’s inclusive leadership has been transformative.

Under her guidance, the club pioneered accessible community sports programs and was recognised with the prestigious Cricket Victoria Community Club of the Year award in 2024. Now serving as a Community Engagement Advisor for Community Bank Inner East, Kate seamlessly bridges her professional and personal passions.

For Kate, true leadership is rooted in understanding the needs of others. Through her unwavering compassion and tireless volunteerism, she consistently turns empathy into action, ensuring that service to her community always comes first.
