DESCRIPTION:Join us as we hear from Aviv Palti\, Aviv  is the President of the Rotary Passport Club of Melbourne. \nHe is the CEO of Lifestyle Brands\, a homewares company he co-founded 39 years ago. \nIn 2011 Aviv and his family founded the Cambodia Rural Students Trust (CRST)\, an NGO based in Siem Reap\, Cambodia. With the mission of ‘Breaking the poverty cycle through education’\, their unique non-government organization is entirely led and managed by their students. \nIn August 2022\, the Rotary Passport Club of Melbourne supported the charter of the Rotaract Club of Siem Reap. These Rotaractors\, along with other CRST NGO students\, last year reached over 20\,000 beneficiaries through some incredible grass-root community projects. \nBased on the 3 pillars of Education\, Empowerment and Inspiration\, the Cambodia Rural Students Trust and Rotary Passport Melbourne have impacted thousands of lives as they Educate Future Leaders. \nMeeting in the Upton Room\, Box Hill RSL \n6pm for 6:15pm start\, 5th September 2023 \nDinner is available in the RSL Bistro.  \nPlease note non-Rotary club members will need to book separately if they wish to have dinner following the meeting as the venue only sets aside a limited number of seats for members. It is always better to book extras just in case. \n
