DESCRIPTION:Join us on September 1st to hear from Samantha Clarke from Mercy Ships. \nSamantha Clarke is the Victorian Ambassador for Mercy Ships Australia. Her career path has been anything but ordinary\, beginning as a hairdresser before moving into public life and later working in national politics\, including for a Prime Minister. Across each chapter\, one thing has remained constant: a deep desire to bring people together to create meaningful change. \nToday\, Samantha shares the story of Mercy Ships with community groups\, churches\, Probus clubs\, Rotary clubs and other organisations across Victoria. With warmth and authenticity\, she speaks about the life changing impact of safe surgery\, the incredible work of the volunteer crew on board the ships\, and the lasting difference Mercy Ships is making through training and capacity building in the countries they serve. \nDate: Tuesday 1st September Time: 6:15 PM for 6.30 PM start \nGuests welcome \nAn optional dinner is available in the Bistro following the meeting.
