DESCRIPTION:Join us for a night of fun as we fundraise for the Biplane Angiogram Suite \nA Biplane Angiogram Suite is an urgent need for a growing and ageing community. Eastern Health hopes to open a cutting-edge Biplane Angiogram service to the community in early 2025 which will be located at Eastern Health Box Hill.\nThrough the support of the generous community\, Eastern Health Box Hill has recently achieved Stroke Unit Certification as a Primary Stroke Centre\, representing a significant milestone in Eastern Health’s commitment to excellence in stroke care. With the introduction of a Biplane Angiogram Suite\, the Stroke Unit at Eastern Health will become one of the best in the country\, with patients at risk of permanent disability or death from a stroke receiving stroke treatment in under an hour\, dramatically improving their overall outcomes and even saving their life.\nCurrently Eastern Health does not have its own Biplane service leaving over 800\,000 people in Melbourne’s eastern region without local access to this potentially lifesaving equipment. \nhttps://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1209117
